- think about lifting up with your transverse abdominals. If you aren’t sure what this is, go do a Jefferson Curl (the portion of the pull back up once the lower back is almost flat and weight is still away from the body)
- Externally rotate the shoulders at the bottom, then start upward movement with internal rotation of the shoulders.
